Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of Trade Development Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in trade expertise, with experience in supervising and training individuals in a controlled environment. A high level of communication skills is essential, including negotiation and interaction with people from diverse backgrounds.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training plans for the safe operation of industry plant and equipment.
  • Conduct regular staff inductions and refresher training sessions to ensure personnel are competent in their roles.
  • Promote and maintain safe work practices, adhering to Australian/New Zealand Standards ISO 45001.
  • Assist in the development of commercial projects, maximizing training opportunities for individuals through effective stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the behavior and activities of individuals on a daily basis, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure individuals are properly trained and competent in the operation of equipment prior to use.
  • Participate in case management processes, including updating individual files and recording progress towards goals.
  • Oversee commercial systems and processes, ensuring product meets client specifications.
  • Maximize training opportunities through effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Relevant industry qualifications and/or experience in trade expertise.
  • Experience in managing production targets, deadlines, inventory, and stock.
  • Ability to write objective reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to supervise and train individuals, handle situations fairly and firmly.
  • High level of communication skills, including negotiation and interaction with diverse groups.
