
Senior Industry Training Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of Trade Development Manager.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in trade expertise, with experience in supervising and training individuals in a controlled environment. A high level of communication skills is essential, including negotiation and interaction with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training plans for the safe operation of industry plant and equipment.
- Conduct regular staff inductions and refresher training sessions to ensure personnel are competent in their roles.
- Promote and maintain safe work practices, adhering to Australian/New Zealand Standards ISO 45001.
- Assist in the development of commercial projects, maximizing training opportunities for individuals through effective stakeholder engagement.
- Supervise the behavior and activities of individuals on a daily basis, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure individuals are properly trained and competent in the operation of equipment prior to use.
- Participate in case management processes, including updating individual files and recording progress towards goals.
- Oversee commercial systems and processes, ensuring product meets client specifications.
- Maximize training opportunities through effective communication with stakeholders.
- Relevant industry qualifications and/or experience in trade expertise.
- Experience in managing production targets, deadlines, inventory, and stock.
- Ability to write objective reports and correspondence.
- Ability to supervise and train individuals, handle situations fairly and firmly.
- High level of communication skills, including negotiation and interaction with diverse groups.
