Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant Manager to monitor quality procedures and ensure compliance with regulative and customer requirements.
  • The successful candidate will oversee the QA Production team and develop quality control procedures and safety standards for the manufacture of food products.
  • Additionally, they will assist and provide specialists support to the QA Manager, accurately recording process monitoring by applying valid and reliable sampling techniques.
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of HACCP & Quality Assurance Systems is essential, supported by experience in the food processing industry and specialist knowledge of quality assurance monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Internal Auditing and HACCP Certification is preferred, as well as good understanding of the regulative Approved Arrangement.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Quality Management or Food Technology would be advantageous.
