We are seeking a seasoned Ecologist to lead our team in delivering ecological assessments and management planning for projects across various sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute your expertise in fauna, flora, and ecosystems. As a Senior Ecologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing advanced ecological technical practices that support diverse projects and address client challenges
  • Managing technical teams to deliver field investigations, impact assessments, and mitigation designs
  • Providing outstanding client service through risk-based strategic advice and high-quality technical reporting
  • Implementing efficiencies and digital solutions to enhance collaboration and work processes
  • Driving strategic growth, technical excellence, and innovation in ecological assessments and management planning
Requirements:
  • Proven knowledge of fauna, flora, ecological communities, and ecosystems, with a focus on Queensland regions
  • Ability to lead project delivery, engage with clients, and mentor a high-performing team
  • Strong experience in navigating State and Commonwealth environmental approval processes and delivering strategic assessments
  • Proficiency in tools like GIS, remote sensing, and digital solutions to enhance project efficiency
  • Over 10 years of ecological experience, a relevant degree, and a valid Class C driver's license
