About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Operations Specialist to manage our cleaning services and staff at a private hospital. This is a full-time position that offers a supportive work environment, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • To oversee the daily operations of our cleaning services, including managing staff and resources.
  • To communicate with contractors for waste management and cleaning services.
  • To ensure compliance with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures.
  • To deliver high-standard cleaning services and excellent customer service to patients, clients, and staff.
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work across different shifts as required.
  • Previous experience as a supervisor or manager in a hospital, hotel services, or shopping centre.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of managing a 24/7 roster using electronic time and attendance systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to motivate team members to achieve excellence in customer service.
  • Ability to complete tasks within a measurable timeframe.
  • Ability to work in a diverse physically challenging position/workload.
  • Certification 3 or 4 in cleaning operations is desirable.
