**Job Opportunity: Developing a New Fundraising Strategy**

The Burnside Hospital Foundation is seeking an experienced fundraiser to develop and lead on a new fundraising strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact across the community, driving long-term sustainable growth of a broad fundraising program.

In this leadership position, you will report directly to the hospital CEO, focusing on developing cases for support that engage and motivate existing and future donors. Your data-driven experience and broad fundraising knowledge will enable you to utilise the database to develop an appeals program that inspires and engages the wider audience.

  • Develop a multi-channel fundraising strategy with initial focus on philanthropy and appeals
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the hospital to determine relevant projects for funding
  • Engage existing major donors and create stewardship plans
  • Manage relationships with donors from prospect through to ask
  • Develop engagement events to inspire current and potential donors to give

This role requires a passionate and dynamic individual who thrives in an environment focused on growth. You will have the autonomy to take ownership of the Foundation's growth, working closely with the hospital marketing function to develop materials to support the fundraising program.
