Contract Manager Opportunity

GenusPlus Group, a leading provider of end-to-end services for essential power and telecommunications infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our Commercial team in Perth.

About the Role

The Contract Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing pre-contract administrative tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate commercial risks and ensure the award of new contract agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with operational and commercial teams to coordinate contractual insurance requirements and securities, implement risk management processes, and review risk registers.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients during procurement events.
  • Review and negotiate new contracts and agreements to align with Genus Commercial Risk Initiatives.
  • Develop and transfer comprehensive handover files from the pre-contracts phase to operational teams, ensuring all residual risks are known and recorded.
  • Assist operational teams with compilation of claims and contractual notices over $100,000.
  • Ensure all major claims are initiated effectively and maintain compliance with all service contracts and Company commercial policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in business, contracts/commercial law, or other relevant technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial or contract manager role.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract law and strong understanding of the AS4000 suite of contracts and commercial negotiation.
  • Strong business acumen, including professional writing and development of business case documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving performance goals and objectives.
  • Good safety record and knowledge of Work Health & Safety requirements.
  • High-level stakeholder relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, schedule, and plan.
  • Ability to work independently using own initiative and within a cohesive team environment.
  • Internet and PC proficiency with advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Outlook skills.
  • Demonstrated level of analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
