Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in shaping the future of high voltage transmission system developments.

You will play a key part in leading cutting-edge power systems analysis, formulating strategic recommendations to optimise network performance while driving both short-term and long-term enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the analysis and development of electricity transmission systems.

  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline and knowledge in market modelling and simulation would be advantageous.

Strong communication skills are essential to engage effectively with customers, suppliers, contractors, technical experts, and senior management.

Substantial experience in legislation and technical standards guiding system planning, working in accordance with a Quality Assurance System, is also required.

Key Responsibilities

Lead cutting-edge power systems analysis to inform strategic recommendations for network optimisation.

Develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Manage joint network planning to drive short-term and long-term enhancements.
