We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Intelligence Lead to join our Strategy and Transformation team at Knox City Council. This is a full-time temporary role based at our Civic Centre, with a range of flexible work options available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the integrated Council and Health and Wellbeing Plan
  • Develop and lead the planning and reporting components of the Annual Budget cycle
  • Support the development of an Organisation Strategy
  • Deliver accurate and timely quarterly performance reports and an Annual Report
  • Provide strategy and planning guidance to the organisation
Requirements
  • Demonstrated people leadership, with experience managing and developing a team of multi-disciplinary technical specialists
  • Values-driven, collaborative, flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations
  • Proven time management, prioritisation and project management skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess options and consequences in delivering and implementing preferred actions and decisions within a complex and political environment
  • Ability to develop conceptual frameworks for corporate planning and reporting; and organisation measurement and evaluation; and proven experience in the translation and implementation of those into process, operational policy, tools and systems
  • Knowledge and experience in data analytics and developing business intelligence to inform evidence-based strategy development
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, on time and within budget
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and engage effectively with a wide range of people, and the ability to determine stakeholder issues and explain complex issues and concepts
