The Learning Support Team plays a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs. As a Learning Support Teacher, you will provide small group initiatives for students with learning needs, collaborate with teachers to support these students in their class, work alongside the Learning Support team to ensure students receive comprehensive support, and partner with parents to develop strategies that help each student succeed.
This position involves working closely with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for identity, rights to work in Australia, and child protection in accordance with relevant policies.
- Display the capacity to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
- Demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
- Receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes.
- Effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.
- Possess an active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications and accreditation (or eligibility).
