Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will ensure smooth handovers and high-quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years trade experience in carpentry or a related field, strong leadership and communication skills, and excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, assessing project scope, providing reports on required works, coordinating with subcontractors and trades, communicating with clients, tradespeople, and office teams, and maintaining accurate project documentation.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for interpreting plans and drawings, supervising on-site activities, resolving construction issues, and providing timely reports. In addition, they must plan and organize project schedules up to two weeks in advance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections to assess project scope and provide reports on required works.
  • Oversee multiple construction projects ensuring smooth handovers and high-quality workmanship.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and trades to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Communicate efficiently with clients, tradespeople, and office teams.
  • Ensure high standards of paperwork, organisation, and project documentation.
  • Inspect completed works to guarantee top-quality workmanship.
  • Monitor safety regulations, ensure timely task completion, and maintain quality assurance standards.
  • Interpret plans and drawings to ensure accurate and precise project execution.
  • Supervise on-site activities, resolve construction issues, and provide timely reports.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years trade experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities on-site.
