Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our Proactive Services team as a Trolley Collection Driver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding areas using a vehicle.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in a retail environment and has excellent communication skills. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that our stores are well-maintained and customers have a great experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Trolley Collection: Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs.
  • Trolley Loading: Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle.
  • Trolley Return: Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection.
  • Reporting: Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys.
Requirements
  • Licence: Hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence, Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates) or full International Licence.
  • Physical Fitness: Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift.
  • Availability: Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm.
  • Work Ethic: A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
