Trolley Collection and Maintenance Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our Proactive Services team as a Trolley Collection and Maintenance Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle, and ensuring they are returned to the trolley bays in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
  • Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
  • Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
  • Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
  • You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks

Requirements:

  • You must hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence, Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates) or full International Licence
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
