Job Description

Are you looking for a career that makes a real difference in people's lives? As a Home Care Worker, you will have the opportunity to support older members of our community to maintain their independence and enhance their wellbeing.

As a Home Care Worker, you will provide general housekeeping and personal care services to our aged care clients. This may include tasks such as:

  • General housekeeping and making beds
  • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Washing, folding and ironing laundry
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping

You will also be providing personal care services, including getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day, assisting with medications, mobility and therapy goals, and providing complex care for customers with high care needs.

Key Requirements:

  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence and own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
  • Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role
