About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at CSA Recruitment Pty Ltd. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical design solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and scope ASP3 high voltage projects for a range of clients, including residential, commercial, universities, schools, utilities, industrial, mining, health, and defence.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring excellent communication and project delivery.
  • Manage and deliver electrical projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Lead work-winning efforts in the private HV market, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to secure new clients.
  • Negotiate with supply authorities to obtain approvals and certifications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Attend client meetings and site inspections, providing expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Group Leader, ensuring seamless project delivery.
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified engineer, recognized by Engineers Australia.
  • Local experience working in a design consultancy or similar, with a strong understanding of building services design principles.
  • Preferred experience within the building services consultancy environment, with a focus on high voltage design.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong experience with AutoCAD, with the ability to create high-quality design solutions.
  • Ability to complete Authority design (Ausgrid and Endeavour minimum) and analysis of substations, new network connection projects, asset relocation projects, maximum demand calculations, compliance, and certification.
