We are seeking a solicitor to join our dynamic team in Broome, Western Australia. As a solicitor, you will provide legal advice, assistance, and representation to clients as part of an integrated service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.
- Participate in identifying law reform priorities and strategies to address them.
- Assist in the preparation of plans, including service delivery plans, and undertake appropriate professional development activities.
- Eligibility to hold a practising certificate in WA (restricted or unrestricted).
- Well-developed casework and advocacy experience in generalist areas of law.
- Experience in a community legal practice setting and/or community-based organisation in remote and rural Australia.
The successful applicant will need to provide references, a recent WA Police Clearance, current Working with Children's Check, and their working rights in Australia.
