Job Title: Community Mental Health Practitioner - Youth Development

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes for families and young people in contact with the child welfare and justice systems.
  • Provide mental health consultation, assessment, and support engagement with further healthcare services for young people and their families.
  • Develop strategies to enhance the organisation's capacity to respond to diverse communities, including Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander, refugee, migrant communities, and people with disabilities.

About You:

  • A relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse is required.
  • You should have experience in clinical practice within the mental health field, working directly with young people and families, in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Previous experience in provision of supervision and leadership is an advantage.
  • You must have an interest and commitment to work with marginalised communities and developing partnerships with other services.
