About the Role

As a Lead Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mobile accounting at our organization. You'll partner with cross-functional leaders across design, product, and engineering to drive high-quality outcomes.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong collaboration and communication skills. You'll lead design for key initiatives, mentor designers, and help us continually raise the bar for quality, usability, and craft.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Design, Product, and Development leaders to set the design vision and direction for native mobile experiences
  • Lead design research and testing to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Promote the value of design and collaborative practice across the organization
  • Present and communicate design work to various audiences
  • Challenge current solutions by exploring ideal future concepts and identifying new interaction solutions and patterns
  • Create prototypes to demonstrate proposed concepts or solutions
  • Influence and support designers to deliver high-quality product experiences
  • Develop phased design solutions that bridge the gap between current and future states

Requirements

  • Track record of designing native mobile experiences across iOS and Android
  • Ability to solve customers' problems through design thinking and execution
  • Mastery of the entire design process from uncovering customer needs to executing elegant interfaces
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
