Working as an experienced Anaesthetics professional at a leading acute and rehabilitation hospital offers the chance to provide high-quality patient care in a rewarding role.

About the Role

We are seeking skilled Anaesthetics practitioners with exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering quality care on a part-time basis.

The working hours for this position vary between 6:30am-9pm across Monday to Friday with the occasional on-call shift.

About Our Hospital

Our hospital is a renowned medical facility located in Brisbane's busiest medical precinct, offering comprehensive services, including Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Spinal, ENT, Pain and Rehabilitation, as well as Plastics, Urology, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

We also deliver a leading private drug and alcohol program from our dedicated unit.

Your Responsibilities
  • Delivering excellent service and care to patients
  • Liaising within a multidisciplinary team
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety
  • Possessing sound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practices
  • Completing documentation to a high standard
  • Adhering to policies and procedures

You will need to possess:

  • Bachelor of Science (nursing) or equivalent
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years Post Graduate experience in Anaesthetics
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Compliance with National Standards
