About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nephrologist and General Medicine Consultant to join a dynamic and compassionate team of specialist consultants. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional, driven by a passion for delivering outstanding, evidence-based, and patient-centered care services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nephrology services for both inpatients and ambulatory care patients, including conducting onsite clinics.
  • Be involved in inpatient general medical on-call duties.

About the Hospital

This is a 280 bed acute and extended care facility which provides a range of services including surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care and psychiatry services as well as extended care and regional services.

About the Location

This regional city boasts a diversity of cultural, outdoor and sporting activities. It is located only two hours north of Melbourne and features magnificent food and wine, glorious weather and all the attractions and activities you could imagine in a regional city.

Requirements

  • Be registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Nephrology and Renal Medicine.
  • Be on RACP training program.
  • Hold the FRACP.
  • Be eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ.
  • Have RACP interview date.
  • Have been assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable.
