About the Role:
As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to our needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.
Responsibilities:
- Build and improve infra tooling critical for the Android mainline modules' release quality.
- Create solutions for better Android developer experience in the Android and Google toolchain.
- Define quality bars with Android module teams and scale it across the ecosystem.
- Resolve Android launch blockers in collaboration with the cross-functional teams in Android.
- Collaborate with Android partners to improve Android module quality beyond our own product line.
Qualifications:
For this role, we are looking for individuals with experience in software development, data structures or algorithms, and excellent communication skills. A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, with a preferred qualification being a master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field. Knowledge of mobile operating systems, multi-tasking ability, and understanding of developments in the mobile industry are also desirable.
