Spearhead the development of high-performance Android applications, crafting user-centric features that drive business growth and enhance customer engagement.
As a Senior Android Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mobile technology, working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver innovative solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering, with expertise in Kotlin, Coroutines, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and other relevant technologies. Additionally, they should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a user-centric problem-solving approach, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
Design and develop high-quality features for our Android app, collaborating with designers to ensure seamless user experiences.
Contribute to product decisions, driving innovation and strategic direction for the Android team.
Maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Participate in cross-functional discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to align on project goals and objectives.
Review code and provide constructive feedback to fellow engineers, promoting best practices and technical excellence.
Handle critical issues and unexpected challenges, exercising sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in Android development.
Expertise in Kotlin, Coroutines, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and other relevant technologies.
Familiarity with testing principles and writing effective tests to ensure high-quality code.
Self-motivation to improve the app and codebase beyond specifications, driving innovation and progress.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
User-centric problem-solving approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
Continuous feedback-driven decision making, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing requirements.
