Job Opportunity: Corporate Tax Expert

We are seeking a seasoned tax professional to lead our corporate tax team. This role will involve managing complex corporate tax matters, leading a team of professionals, and delivering high-quality outcomes.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior tax expert to leverage their expertise in corporate tax compliance, Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) compliance, and tax advisory services. You will be responsible for reviewing and preparing corporate income tax returns, FBT returns, and providing expert advice on international tax matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and review corporate income tax compliance, including income tax returns, tax consolidations, and lodgement programs.
  • Oversee and review FBT compliance, including return preparation and ad hoc advisory work.
  • Provide expert tax advisory on corporate restructures, international tax matters, and employee share schemes.
  • Review tax effect accounting calculations and prepare tax notes for clients.
  • Lead client engagements and coordinate teams to deliver high-quality work.
Requirements
  • You hold a degree in Commerce or Business, and have completed a CA or CPA qualification.
  • You have at least 4 years of experience in corporate tax within a professional services environment.
  • You possess strong technical skills and are committed to staying up-to-date with Australian corporate tax legislation and international tax developments.
  • You have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate stakeholders.
