About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Manager to join our team at Liberty Oyster Harbour. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall management of the store, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, cost control, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver daily plans and strategies to achieve budgets and targets.
  • Daily management of stock to minimize out-of-stocks, stock loss, and maximize sales.
  • Build strong relationships with local community and other stakeholders.
  • Execute and manage visual merchandising within the store.
  • Manage and prepare budget reports, stock takes, and ordering.
  • Promote and advertise the establishment's goods and services.
  • Deal with customer queries, complaints, and feedback.
  • Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and monitor competitors.
  • Maintain records of financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Manage wages and rosters.
  • Manage all costs associated with the store.
  • Manage employee performance and training.

Requirements:

  • AQF associate degree, advanced diploma, or diploma in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, recruit, motivate, manage, and develop a large store team.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales, wages, and stock loss targets.
  • Demonstrated skills in stock management.
  • A drive to achieve store and individual sales budgets and KPIs.
  • An eye for detail and high visual merchandising standards.
