Overview

The Pharmacy Manager is a leadership role that requires a motivated and self-sufficient Pharmacist to oversee the successful performance and profitability of an established pharmacy.

This role suits a flexible and driven individual who enjoys a variety of duties while leading an experienced team to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • High Volume Dispensing: Manage a busy pharmacy with over 500 scripts per day
  • Customer Focus: Ensure exceptional customer service is a priority for all team members
  • Team Management: Lead a core team of 22 permanent staff, including Pharmacists, Dispensary Technicians, and pharmacy assistants
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Develop, coach, and mentor the team to achieve excellence
  • Detail-Oriented Dispensing: Maintain high levels of attention to detail in the dispensary
  • Multi-Skilling and Delegation: Ensure the smooth running of the business by multi-skilling and delegating tasks effectively
  • Health Advice: Share advice and information with the team and customers to ensure the best healthcare is always front of mind

Requirements

  • Registered AHPRA Pharmacist authorised to work in Australia
  • Experience in managing a high-volume dispensary (handling 300+ scripts per day)
  • Strong professional patient counselling skills
  • Passion for networking and community involvement
  • Driven by a commitment to excellent customer service
  • Must have experience in vaccination services
