The successful candidate will work closely with our Group Financial Controller to provide accurate financial support to the business. This role will involve hands-on tasks such as ensuring best practice, driving process improvements, and contributing to the strategic direction of the business from a financial perspective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of half year and annual statutory accounts, including project managing and coordinating the Group audit process.
  • Support with the Group consolidation for statutory accounting purposes, including but not limited to eliminations, equity, detailed consolidation of PPE, intangibles and tax.
  • Draft technical accounting policies to cover various topics applicable to CFL.
  • Be responsible for applying new accounting standards, including leading the implementation of the standard.
  • Lead the accounting treatment process of ad hoc or new transaction types.
  • Prepare audit and compliance related documents.
  • Support the preparation of board and ARC reporting and any additional related documents as required.
  • Contribute to Group-wide accounting policies.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliver continuous process improvements.
  • Provide project support activities for Blackline (Balance Sheet) implementation.
  • Analyse which balance sheet reconciliations require an uplift to bring them to group standard.
  • Undertake process improvement to bring those balance sheet reconciliation up to group standard.
