The Opportunity

This role offers a broad scope of responsibilities across various corporate functions, providing support to multiple business areas. You will advise on procurement activities ranging from small value procurements to major acquisitions worth billions, ensuring compliance with frameworks and delivering value for money.

You will provide high-quality, timely, and practical procurement advice and services to ensure procurement activity minimises risk and delivers added value. Key aspects of the role include:

  • Advising business areas on procurement processes, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Reviewing procurement documentation including spending proposals, procurement plans, approaches to market, delegate approvals, contracts, work orders, and risk assessments.
  • Supporting procurement planning and the development of Statements of Requirement.
  • Contributing to procurement strategies, systems, and reporting to strengthen organisational performance.
  • Maintaining and promoting strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
  • Providing advice on contract management activities.

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional who can bring maturity, initiative, and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will have prior APS6-level experience in procurement or contract management in a Federal Government environment, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and regulations.
