We are seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining high-speed fiber optic networks.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Design, install, and maintain high-speed fiber optic networks, including optical fibers, cable management systems, and network devices;">
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of network issues, using specialized equipment such as OTDRs and LSPMs;">
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of new network installations and upgrades;">
  • Develop and implement best practices for network maintenance and upgrade processes;">
  • Assist in the development and implementation of network performance metrics and reporting;">

Requirements

  • ">
  • 5+ years of experience in fiber optic network engineering, with a focus on design, installation, and maintenance;">
  • Expert-level knowledge of fiber optic network technologies, including WDM, DWDM, CWDM, and Ethernet;">
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications regulations and industry standards;">
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex network issues and develop effective solutions;">
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;">
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment;">
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel (up to 50% of the time);">
