Seeking an experienced leader to oversee aircraft operations in a full-time role. The successful candidate will lead and support 737 team members, reporting directly to the Sydney Ramp Manager.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead all 737 apron functions when on shift
  • Assume Team Leader duties when required
  • Supervise on-shift 737 Team Leaders and ASO staff
  • Support administrative tasks and reporting
  • Tow aircraft during repositioning, coordinating with Engineering, Network Operations, and airport authorities
  • Ensure staff adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Arrange coverage for staff absences
  • Manage staff overtime
  • Oversee Catering and Freight functions on the apron
  • Liaise with other departments and suppliers
  • Perform routine audits for continuous improvement
  • Provide operational support as needed
  • Key Selection Criteria:
  • Proven experience in a leadership capacity
  • Airline or industry background
  • Ability to obtain an ASIC and airside driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High standard of professionalism
  • Capacity to work flexible hours, including early starts, evenings, and weekends
  • Mandatory state driver's license
  • High standard of physical fitness
  • Teamwork and commitment to timely performance
