Job Title: Multi-Media Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage audio-visual equipment and systems for various events.

The role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and delivers flawless event setups every time.

  • Set up, install, and operate audio-visual equipment including sound systems, microphones, projectors, video screens, lighting systems, and other AV components as required.
  • Configure AV equipment based on event requirements and technical specifications.
  • Monitor and adjust audio and visual equipment throughout events to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AV equipment before, during, and after events.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with clients and event organizers to understand their audio and visual needs.
  • Recommend and implement audio-visual solutions based on client requirements.
  • Coordinate with event vendors to integrate AV setups seamlessly with overall event plans.
  • Keep an inventory of AV equipment, track usage, and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Recommend upgrades or new purchases based on technological advancements and event requirements.
  • Evaluate events and gather feedback to improve AV services and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a safe working environment during AV setups and operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in audio-visual management, preferably in live events or hospitality.
  • Technical expertise in setting up and operating AV equipment.
  • Familiarity with audio-visual technology, including digital signal processing, audio mixing, and video streaming.
  • Troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Customer service-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in AV setup, operation, and maintenance.
  • RSA and RCG Competency (or willingness to obtain).
  • Full work rights in Australia.
