About the Position
The organization seeks a Sexual Health Nurse to support delivery of inclusive, youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Key Responsibilities include demonstrating currency in specialist knowledge and skills for sexual and reproductive health, making clinical decisions within own level of competence, delivering non-judgmental, values-based care, establishing effective communication within the multidisciplinary team, and maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical records.
Requirements include demonstrated experience and understanding of evidence-based adolescent primary, sexual & reproductive health care and interventions, delivering clinical interventions or health promoting programs within scope of practice for young people, and experience and understanding of other health issues facing young people.
