Procurement Specialist Role

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring goods and services required for production, health safety, and logistics operations.

  • Source and procure goods and services needed for production, health safety, and logistics activities.
  • Foster relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.
  • Audit suppliers and ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with vendors to secure favorable pricing, delivery timelines, and service quality.
  • Manage procurement processes, ensuring timely completion and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Monitor procurement expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or project management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in professional business English.
  • Attention to detail and reliability in ensuring accuracy of data.
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
