Providing high-quality anaesthetic care is a critical component of patient management, particularly for those requiring pre- and peri-operative treatment.

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetist to join our team at Central Queensland's largest hospital. Key responsibilities include delivering pre- and peri-operative anaesthetic care for patients, contributing to patient management within the High Dependency Unit, and participating in emergency situations when on duty.

The successful candidate will be required to supervise and mentor junior staff, including Principal House Officers, Junior House Officers, Interns, Registrars, and Provisional Fellows, given the department's accreditation as a training facility. This will involve providing guidance and support to help junior staff develop their skills and knowledge.

This role supports the growth of services delivered to Central Queenslanders, with more specialists needed to support the expanding population. As a result, the position involves contributing to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance patient care and outcomes.
