Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Greater Sydney team, focusing on Insurance-related residential, commercial, and strata building works. The successful candidate will provide high-quality customer service to both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Understand and interpret Project Reports and Scope of Works, produce quotes and cost estimates, and collaborate with Claims Coordinators to develop and issue contracts in line with the Scope of Works.
  • Program Management: Generate, monitor, and amend construction programs to meet project objectives, manage projects within budget parameters and approved variations.
  • Technical Expertise: Review and interpret various technical documents, including relevant regulatory legislation of the Building & Construction Industry (NSW/QLD), and have a clear understanding of building codes necessary for facilitating repairs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise between all key stakeholders, including insureds, insurers, trades, internal office employees, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage quality assurance and project KPIs through company and client SLAs, and undertake emergency Make Safe Works as required.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members and oversee internal trade teams, and represent the company at industry-related events as required.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Cert IV - Building and Construction (mandatory), Construction Induction Card (blue/white) (mandatory), and Driver's Licence (mandatory).
  • Experience: 2+ years in Commercial/Residential Supervision, 5+ years in the building and construction environment, and strong background and experience in supervising projects, including repairs, fit-outs, and new construction.
  • Skills: Strong administrative, IT, written, verbal communication, and organizational skills, ability to manage supervisory and reporting expectations effectively, and adapt to diverse environments and work schedules.
