About the Role

The Property Accountant, Retail Asset Finance Specialist is an integral member of our asset finance teams, providing high-quality financial and management reporting for a diverse portfolio of Retail assets.

The team is at the core of all Asset Management finance activities and provides accurate, timely, and meaningful information to assist in the management of the group's assets and to ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, with accuracy, month-end, half-year-end, and full-year-end reporting.
  • Completing tenant outgoings statements and annual outgoings washup.
  • Forecasting and budgeting.
  • Profit and loss review.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Responding to requests for external audit information in a precise and timely manner.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of existing processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • A finance/accounting professional who has commenced their CA/CPA qualifications or is CA or CPA qualified.
  • Relevant finance experience, ideally from within the Property sector.
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to plan and manage tight deadlines.
  • Stakeholder management experience, with the ability to develop relationships across the business.
  • Experience with SAP and Anaplan, as well as strong Excel skills.
