Job Title: Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of scalable, cloud-native data infrastructure that powers fundraising and supporter engagement. This individual will design ML-ready data models, build robust ETL pipelines, and enable predictive analytics that inform strategic decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and maintain a high-performing data warehouse in Google BigQuery to support scalable analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) workloads, and an effective Customer Relationship Management platform.
  • Design efficient data models for analytics and ML using SQL and dbt, ensuring efficient storage, transformation, and accessibility.
  • Develop and manage ETL pipelines leveraging GCP-native tools and Python to enable reliable data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across platforms.
Requirements:
  • Data Engineering: Advanced experience with SQL (BigQuery and PostgreSQL preferred), Python, database management, ETL processes, data modelling (dbt), and preparing datasets for AI/ML applications.
  • Cloud Technologies: Expertise with core GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions (or similar services on other platforms such as AWS or Azure).
  • Customer Data Platforms (CDPs): Hands-on experience working with CDPs such as the Salesforce Data Cloud.
