Job Title: Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced automotive technician to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic inspections to ensure every vehicle meets the highest standards of safety and performance.
  • Perform required roadworthy checks and ensure all vehicles meet necessary compliance standards before delivery.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out repairs, including brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and suspension work.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless workflow and high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, repairs, and certifications completed.
  • Perform final checks and quality control before vehicle handover to ensure top-quality delivery.
Requirements:
  • A valid RWC licence is highly desired – to perform roadworthy checks.
  • Proven experience as a Roadworthy Mechanic with strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools.
  • A sharp eye for identifying issues and defects, ensuring every vehicle is fully compliant and ready for our customers.
  • The ability to diagnose and solve mechanical issues, and confidence in performing repairs.
  • A commitment to maintaining a positive, productive team environment.
  • Clear communication skills, whether with team members or customers, ensuring everyone’s on the same page.
  • Formal automotive qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology) and/or current RWC Licence are essential.
  • Experience with electrical diagnostics, air conditioning repairs, and other specialized skills are highly regarded.
