About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of IT to lead our technology strategy and drive innovation across the Peacock Group. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the Group's business objectives.
  • Lead and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Group's IT infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain IT security policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and managing responses to security incidents.
  • Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the Group's business objectives.
  • Identify and leverage technology opportunities to drive business improvements and efficiencies.
  • Manage external service and product vendor relationships.
  • Advise the Executive Team on emerging technologies and their potential to drive innovation.
About You

The successful applicant will have:

  • Expertise in various IT applications, infrastructure, and network environments.
  • Proven experience in leadership, coaching, and management roles.
  • Extensive background in project management.
  • Demonstrated hands-on involvement in delivering both small and complex IT projects.
  • Ability to identify and manage project issues, risks, and dependencies.
  • Skilled in project administration, including managing contract variations, dashboard reporting, financial tracking, and forecasting.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business functional teams.
  • Familiarity with formal software development processes and testing methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail along with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 5 years' experience as a Head of IT of a medium or large company (preferred).
  • Proven track record of project delivery and appropriate qualifications.
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP, Microsoft CRM & Supply Chain technology.
  • Experience building and maintaining cyber-security frameworks.
  • Experience with business strategy creation and implementation.
  • A strong understanding of the potential of AI and experience with prototyping and developing AI-based capabilities will be valued.
  • Ability to work within a professional and collaborative team environment to create and deliver innovative solutions that drive transformation in our business.
Qualifications/Mandatory Criteria
  • Tertiary qualifications in an Information Technology related field.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics BC C/Side, AL Code, Microsoft Dynamics BC Role Tailored Client, Microsoft SQL Server, C#,.NET and ASP.NET.
