Motion is a vital component of how our brand is expressed across various platforms, including product, marketing, web, and digital environments.

This role plays a crucial part in establishing motion systems that are scalable, flexible, and aligned with our visual identity and product design standards.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and expanding motion design systems across multiple platforms, including both 2D and 3D execution, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

This is a mid-weight role with responsibility and autonomy but not leadership or management position. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in motion, systems-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality work across tools and formats.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and build motion systems for use across product, marketing, and brand
  2. Develop reusable motion libraries and templates to support consistency
  3. Work closely with designers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure smooth integration
  4. Deliver animations and motion graphics in both 2D and 3D environments
  5. Contribute to the evolution of our design system with motion as a key component
  6. Document motion standards and workflows to support team adoption
  7. Stay current with tools and platforms and identify opportunities for improvement or innovation

Requirements:

  1. 3 to 5 years of experience in motion design, preferably across brand and product
  2. Proficiency in After Effects, Blender, or similar motion design tools
  3. Experience with 3D tools such as Cinema 4D
  4. Understanding of motion systems and ability to create scalable, consistent assets
  5. Strong foundation in animation principles, timing, and visual hierarchy
  6. Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  7. Willingness to work across disciplines and adapt to new tools and formats
