The focus is on clarity, usability, and creating a brand that communicates with empathy and purpose.
Motion is a key part of how Heidi's brand is expressed across product, marketing, web, and other digital environments.
This position plays an important role in establishing motion systems that are scalable, flexible, and aligned with Heidi's visual identity and product design standards.
Role Overview The Motion Designer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and expanding motion design systems across multiple platforms.
This includes both 2 D and 3 D execution, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
This is a mid-weight role with responsibility and autonomy, but not a leadership or management position.
The role is suited for someone who is highly skilled in motion, systems-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality work across tools and formats.
Responsibilities Design and build motion systems for use across product, marketing, and brand Develop reusable motion libraries and templates that support consistency Work closely with designers, engineers, and marketing to ensure smooth integration Deliver animations and motion graphics in both 2 D and 3 D environments Contribute to the evolution of Heidi's design system with motion as a key component Document motion standards and workflows to support team adoption Stay current with tools and platforms and identify opportunities for improvement or innovation Requirements3 to 5 years of experience in motion design, preferably across brand and product Proficiency in After Effects, Cavalry, or similar motion design tools Experience with 3 D tools such as Blender or Cinema 4 DUnderstanding of motion systems and ability to create scalable, consistent assets Strong foundation in animation principles, timing, and visual hierarchy Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams Willingness to work across disciplines and adapt to new tools and formats Bonus: Experience with interactive or real-time environments, including web animation or game engines Location and Working Style We are actively hiring within the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and United States as our core regions.
