Forensic Mental Health Dietitian Educator

The role of the Dietitian Clinical Educator is a key support to the development of dietetics graduates and Allied Health professionals. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Dietitian to establish best practice processes for care planning and assessment, providing clinical supervision, support, and oversight to graduate dietitians.

The Dietitian Educator will contribute to the broader Allied Health training program, designing, developing, and facilitating discipline-focused learning and development programs. They will also be responsible for working with the senior dietitian to develop discipline practice process models to guide care planning and assessment.

  • Work collaboratively with the senior dietitian to develop and implement discipline-specific practice processes
  • Provide clinical supervision, support, and oversight to graduate dietitians
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of Allied Health and Psychology training programs
About You

The ideal candidate will have experience in providing clinical supervision, support, and reflective practice to graduate dietitians and other allied health professions. Familiarity with the Equally Well Framework and the importance of addressing metabolic health as part of mental health care is also desirable. Additionally, the ability to advocate for preventative and population health approaches is highly valued.

What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will possess an approved degree in Dietetics and eligibility for membership of Dietitian's Australia. Additional qualifications in clinical education and/or training and assessment would be beneficial but are not essential.
