Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Dietitian to work with patients in Melbourne, providing nutritional assessments and personalized plans.

The Position

We require an experienced Dietitian with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent, able to deliver exceptional service in home care, aged care, and NDIS settings. Key qualifications include membership with the Dietitians Association of Australia, police check clearance, excellent communication skills, time-management skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

As a Dietitian at our organization, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents and clients in their own homes
  • Develop personalized nutrition plans and goals
  • Support dietary requirements for individuals with swallowing and chewing difficulties, bowel and intestinal issues, and other complex needs
  • Provide weight management, appetite, and dysphagia interventions
  • Manage food intolerances and allergies
  • Offer diabetes education and support holistic care planning with other allied health professionals

You will also liaise with service providers, ensure timely caseload documentation, and potentially take on residential aged care shifts up to 2.5 days per month.
