Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Drill & Blast Professional to join our team.
The role involves generating, scheduling and implementing short-term Drilling, Blasting and Ancillary mine plans to achieve the operational plan in a safe and cost-effective manner.
About the Role
This is a residential position with an 8/6, 12-hour day roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Inspecting and assessing the underground production areas
- Liaising with the survey and geology departments when generating production plans
- Providing technical support to the underground supervisors and crew members
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Experience in a similar underground position
- Bachelor Degree of Mining Engineering or related field
- Advanced level in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience in mine design software, preferably Deswik
- Western Australian Underground Supervisors Certificate of competency or ability to attain
- Dangerous Goods Security Card or proof of application
- Current Unencumbered Western Australian
