Join us for a challenging role as a Project Accountant where you will be responsible for managing project accounting across multiple developments.

  • Manage monthly general ledger reconciliations, journals, cost transfers and revenue adjustments.
  • Assist with annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and accurate project reporting.
  • Provide JV and partner reporting on project costs.
  • Partner with external consultants to ensure compliance with tax, audit and reporting obligations.
  • Monitor debtor and creditor balances and ensure ledger accuracy.
  • Support project settlements with financial analysis and tracking.
  • Prepare capital calls and drawdown notices as required.
  • Contribute to process improvements across finance and reporting functions.
  • Ensure all internal and external reporting deadlines are met.

About the Role:

This role requires a strong background in accounting, ideally within property development or financial services. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, attention to detail and strong communication skills. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified with CPA or CA (or working towards).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting.
  • Strong technical accounting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
  • Proactive and commercially astute.
  • High digital competence.
