Job Title: Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial reporting team, you will play a critical role in providing technical accounting support to audit and other client-facing engagement teams.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Australian Accounting Standards (AASB). They will be able to analyze complex accounting issues and provide viable solutions to clients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will work closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical accounting support to audit and other client-facing engagement teams
  • Review and assist with financial statement disclosures
  • Work with clients to prepare high-quality financial statements
  • Implement services of new accounting standards
  • Prepare and deliver client accounting seminars and training as required
  • Research into and development of responses to changes in IFRS accounting standards
  • Assist with the growth of the IFRS Advisory team through the development of a suitable professional profile and other marketing and business development activities
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and AASB
  • Experience in analyzing accounting issues and presenting viable solutions
  • Strong client and stakeholder focus
  • CA or CPA qualifications
  • Clear and effective communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skills
