Job Title: Financial Accounting Specialist

Western Health is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to join our dynamic finance team, supporting the delivery of a complex infrastructure project. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial integrity and transparency across the project that directly contributes to the strategic focus of providing best care to communities.

This Financial Accounting Specialist will be instrumental in managing financial reporting, compliance, and contract obligations. The specialist will assist with audit preparation, assurance activities, and the development of financial year-end statements. Additionally, this role will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.

About You:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
  • Experience in public-private partnerships or large-scale infrastructure projects (highly desirable)
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and compliance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a highly skilled and enthusiastic team
