Job Title: Project Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised Project Advisor to work on impactful projects across the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing meetings and coordinating activities, minute taking and following up on actions / decisions. They will also work with the project team to develop risk & issue mitigation strategies, coordinate tender and procurement processes, and manage the document control and review process - drafting and updating project management plans.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Project Advisor, Project Coordinator or Senior Project Officer role, be proficient with MS Office suite, highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, excellent time management skills, and the ability to pass a Criminal History Check.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage meetings and coordinate activities
  • Work with the project team to develop risk & issue mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate tender and procurement processes
  • Manage the document control and review process
  • Review and analyse project documentation
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet defined standards
  • Assist the Project Manager with project health checks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Project Advisor, Project Coordinator or Senior Project Officer role
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
  • Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to pass a Criminal History Check

About Us:

We offer a long term contract until September 2028, full time hours (38 hrs/week between 7am and 6pm Mon-Fri), weekly pay cycle, and competitive hourly rate ($67.13 - $72.96 per Hour + Superannuation).
