Job Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and diligent individual to join our warehouse team as a forklift operator.

This role is based in Outer Harbour, SA, where you will play a crucial part in the freight and cargo forwarding operations of our company.

  • Maintain the warehouse to ensure internal & surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Operate a forklift and adhere to forklift safety requirements.
  • Ensure storage of goods & packaging materials are handled in accordance with industry standards.
  • Control CHEP pallets or other owned or hired pallets, and follow general stock control processes.
  • Ensure that customer service and quality targets are met or exceeded.
  • Identify areas of cost savings, safety risks, and process improvements within the warehouse operation.
  • Check that all loading plans/photos are completed, along with receipt and dispatch paperwork.
  • Ensure all received goods are correctly stored in their designated areas and pallets are put away safely.
  • Report any major discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
  • Assist with new developments and business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of all warehouse activities and safety rules within the Outer Harbour Warehouse operations.
