Job Overview

Your role will be integral to the company's growth and overall success by delivering exceptional service to our customers while performing routine maintenance and safety checks.

  • Servicing and repair of material handling equipment in a dedicated territory and customer base - Help build positive customer experiences
  • LATEST FIELD-BASED MOBILE TECHNOLOGY TO ASSIST YOU TO MANAGE YOUR DAILY WORK SCHEDULE
  • INVENTORY INPUT ON YOUR COMPANY ALLOCATED SERVICE VAN & CUSTOMER SITES - DELIVER A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL OF SERVICE
  • GAIN EXPERIENCE IN DEALING WITH TOP-TIERED CUSTOMER BASE
  • PERFORM ROUTINE MAINTENANCE & COMPLETE SERVICE WORK - REACTIVE & PLANNED
  • ACCURATELY MAINTAIN IMPORTANT SERVICE RECORDS OF WORK PERFORMED BY YOU

  • Conduct customer-focused scheduled and 'breakdown' services
  • Assist in the preparation of field-based quotes for customers through the completion of jobs
  • Record notes and file service records appropriately - be a part of the service team and provide high level customer service to help our customers solve their material handling needs
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge, including emerging technologies in automation and telematics
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, new products and services
  • Partner with us to maximise additional sales and service across a dedicated customer base

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician will be highly regarded but not essential
  • Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
