Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to support the fabrication and assembly of material handling technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing raw materials, maintaining a safe work environment, and collaborating with suppliers and project delivery teams.

About the Role

Key responsibilities:

  • Taking receipt of incoming materials, checking items delivered against ordered quantity and quality
  • Providing high standard communication, accuracy, and attention to detail during unloading and processing of raw materials
  • Maintaining a safe work environment
  • Working closely with suppliers and project delivery teams

You will have the opportunity to track procured items, materials, and parts throughout the manufacturing process, including assisting with assembly movements through the workshop and external logistics.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An appropriate level of physical fitness
  • Experience in a similar role and industry
  • Experience with handling and working with steel
  • Organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to record and communicate your work schedule
  • A valid High Risk License: LF (forklift)
  • A valid High Risk License: DG (dogman)
  • A current drivers' license
