The Program Manager role is a critical leadership position within our organization, responsible for developing and delivering high-quality, compliant, and consumer-directed home care and respite services across Victoria and Tasmania.
As the successful candidate, you will lead a team of professionals in providing exceptional care to older individuals, ensuring their wellbeing, choice, and independence. Your leadership and management skills will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of our Echuca Home Care Program.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate sound knowledge of aged care and business development principles, as well as comprehensive experience in assessment, care planning, and service delivery to older persons living in the community.
A key responsibility will be to develop and implement fee-for-service approaches, ensuring that programs operate within agreed resource frameworks and financial targets. You will also be required to manage budgets effectively and identify and mitigate risks associated with community-aged care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the team in delivering high-quality, compliant, and consumer-directed services
- Manage and drive the growth of our Echuca Home Care Program
- Develop and implement fee-for-service approaches and ensure that programs operate within agreed resource frameworks and financial targets
This role requires a tertiary qualification in management or a related discipline, combined with significant experience in operational management within a health/aged care organization. A strong understanding of best practice and experience in assessment, care planning, and service delivery to older persons living in the community are essential. Additionally, the ability to thrive in a team environment, appreciate one-to-one interactions, and commit to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST philosophy (Believe, Excel, Support, and Trust) is vital.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply for this role. The ideal candidate will possess a current Working With Children's Check card and full Australian working rights.
